Samantha Campos: "We had an amazing time here! The bell tent was setup in the most private area, the setup next to the tent was amazing! We had our own private outdoor shower and hammock, Tiki torches led to the shower and hammock only a few feet from the tent, everything was just perfect for a private getaway. We even had a separate little deck outside of the tent with chairs and a table, even a cute little grill with amenities waiting for us inside of it, like pots, a skillet, Tongs, and foil. Everything was kept very clean inside the tent and outside! Inside the tent was adorable! They even had everything running off of solar energy which was really efficient and great! Inside the tent was also a Table full of coffee, tea, and table wear. You can definitely tell the host added all the touches to this camp site with extra though, everything from the flowers outside our tent to the beautiful romantic lighting. And to Finnish off our great little stay away from home, we took the kayaks on only a five minute drive to a nice big lake that was very fun to spend the morning in! The kayaks were very nice and well kept as well! And last but not least the host were amazing! They make sure you know if you have any questions or need any bit of assistance they will be there to help. You’ll definitely love your stay at this private lovely site! We’re definitely going back!"
Robert Caudle: "We really enjoyed our stay here. It is very secluded and private. Doug and Terri are great hosts and really have covered all the bases. The tent was very clean and decorated nicely. We really loved the outdoor Kitchen area. Very unique. For us, that is where we spent the bulk of our time. My wife wants one at home now. We did bring a camping stove top with us. It is not that we couldn't have survived without it, it was just a convenience to us to have for perking up a pot of coffee and frying up some bacon and eggs. I am not sure where the property lines are at, but it would be nice if there was lake access from the site, perhaps a dock or clean up part of the lakeside so it is more accessible. We were able to do some fishing from the site, but you really would need a boat or a dock to be able to really enjoy the experience. Overall, I would recommend this site to others. We will definitely be visiting again. Robert & Julie Caudle Chillicothe, Illinois"
K.T. Reilly: "I arrived early and they let me move into my tipi before official check in time. The staff was very friendly. Cots and sleeping bags were comfy and clean. I had to wait a few times to use the communal bathrooms/showers. One night there were a lot of trains running and they were loud. At the check in desk there are earplugs, be sure to get yourself a pair and keep them at the ready. "
