Garden Route Accommodation | South Africa Luxury Camping

This unique family-friendly tree house accommodation is surrounded by the enchanting Knysna Forest in Garden Route, South Africa, and can accommodate a maximum of four adults or five guests in total. This spacious tented treehouse has two bedrooms and an en­suite bathroom. The first bedroom has a queen-size bed, and the second has two twin beds. Each bedroom features a sitting area. A twin-size sleeper sofa can accommodate one guest. In the large bathroom, guests will find a toilet, a shower, and a sink.

The fully-equipped kitchen comes with a gas cooker and a microwave. Outside, there is a large deck area with a Weber BBQ. Each tree house on the property is uniquely built around its respective tree, meaning no two units are exactly the same. Guests will truly have a one-of-a-kind experience!

The property has a communal entertainment area, a pool, a solar heated Jacuzzi, and a fire pit. There is also a playground area and a small conference center on the premises.

COVID-19 Actions

Our staff continue to follow a strict hygiene code and understand the importance (now more than ever) of regular and consistent hand washing. As an extra precaution, we have added additional hand sanitizer in the public areas of our property and each treetop suite. We insist staff refrain from physical contact, such as shaking hands, in addition to keeping a respectful distance from all each other and guests. We respectfully request all our visitors action these practices to ensure the continued health and safety of everyone. No mask, No entry. All guests are required to wear a face mask when checking in or at the communal areas. Guests must complete a Medical and Travel declaration, this can be downloaded, partially completed and emailed to [email protected] which will speed up check in time. One form will be required for each adult staying at Teniqua. Alternatively it will need to be completed at check in. Guests temperature’s will be taken when checking in and noted on the declaration. Any guest’s temperature recorded outside of the normal range (above 37.5˚C) will result in the deferment of the booking and the guest will be required to return home.

Take a day trip and visit Sedgefield to shop at the fantastic Saturday morning market, try fabulous restaurants, or spend time sunbathing and paragliding at the beach.

Going towards the town of Knysna, there are opportunities for canoeing, tubing, beaches and horse riding. In Knysna, explore the Featherbed Nature Reserve, or go boating and sailing along the coast.
