This tipi is tucked away in the heart of the Matarraña near Beceite in Spain and provides the perfect base for exploring the untamed wilderness of Aragon and Catalonia. The rugged mountains and forests of El Ports National Park are impressive and feature many hiking routes, caves, and chasms for exploring.
El Parrizal de Beceite is a route that runs parallel to the Matarraña River and leads to numerous crystal clear pools. Additionally, Salt de Portellada is a must when staying at the property. The 20-meter waterfall of the Tastavins River is beautiful and Instagram-friendly and can be reached by foot, bike, or car from the property.
Further afield, Peñíscola and Museo de la Mar are worth the one-and-a-half drive. Game of Thrones fans will recognize the beautiful town as Meereen, one of the cities of Slaver’s Bay in the popular TV series. For a break from the outdoors and a few history lessons, glampers can visit the anta María de Mediavilla Cathedral in Teruel, or the Torre de El Salvador, a 14th-century Mudéjar tower.
