Based in the town of Valencia de Alcántara in the lush region of Extremadura, Spain, this pet-friendly farm cottage is in a valley surrounded by hills and forests, offering guests the opportunity to relax in a peaceful and secluded area in the province of Cáceres. The cottage was part of a working farm up until the 1950s with its original rustic charm still plain to see as well as its traditional brickwork, offering guests an insight into the Spanish countryside culture.

The cottage can accommodate up to seven guests in total over its four bedrooms. The first two bedrooms contain a double bed each, the third contains two twin beds, and the fourth contains another twin bed. The rooms all showcase authentic Spanish country estate décor with tile flooring and vintage furnishings, as well as windows that reveal gorgeous views of the valley. The two bathrooms feature showers, sinks, and toilets.

After trekking through the Sierra de San Pedro, guests can warm up with a glass of local acorn liqueur in front of the wood-burning fireplace in the living room, where there are cozy sofas and a television, while the dining area can seat up to eight guests at its large varnished table. The kitchen provides plenty of space for food preparation with an array of cooking utensils and modern appliances available, including a stove, a microwave, a refrigerator, as well as a washing machine and a dishwasher.

As the warm, Spanish sun shines, guests can enjoy the aroma and the colors of the garden while chilling out on the patio and serve up a barbecue meal from the grill. Guests will enjoy access to the communal swimming pool, which is the perfect place to cool off before catching some rays with a glass of wine in hand.

The cottages all have access to a large communal swimming pool where guests can cool off in the summer sun, and there is a large lawn with colorful plants and tall trees that provide plenty of shade. There is free on-site parking as well as free Wi-Fi, and each cottage comes with a barbecue grill, a patio with furniture, a fireplace, and air conditioning.
