Based in the town of Valencia de Alcántara, this rental is nestled among tall trees while overlooking stunning valley views and has been built using traditional brickwork giving it a historic rustic charm.

The cottage sleeps two guests in its master bedroom which features exposed stonework and comes with a queen-size bed, bedside tables, and wardrobes, while the tiled bathroom is bright and spacious with a huge vanity, a walk-in shower, and a toilet. The kitchen is decorated with farmhouse furnishings including sky blue painted cupboards and modern appliances such as a stove, microwave, refrigerator as well as an array of cooking utensils.

The adjacent living area is where guests will find a dining table for two in front of a television and cozy couches that make for the ideal hangout spot after a day in the sierra. To recharge their batteries, guests can warm up in front of the wood-burning fireplace while sipping on a glass of wine.

Alternatively, they can head outside to the patio and take in the aroma of the surrounding plants while listening to the soothing sounds of nature. Glampers can try their hand at making a traditional Spanish paella from the outdoor brick grill for a delicious meal in the sun. Guests also have access to the communal swimming pool where they can chill out when feeling like having a lazy day poolside.
