This traditional cottage rental sits on an authentic Spanish country estate, in a valley surrounded by the lovely forested hills of Extremadura, Spain. Sleeping up to three guests, it's perfect for those looking for a rural weekend getaway. The large master bedroom comes with a queen-size bed, while there is a sofa bed in the living room for an extra guest if necessary. The bathroom has a shower, a sink, and a toilet. Towels and linens are kindly provided.

The cottage’s interior blends the original rustic charm with a stylish elegance while showcasing slate walls and artistic furnishings. The living area comes with two sofas in front a television as well as a beautiful wood-burning fireplace. The kitchen contains a stove, a microwave, and a fridge/freezer, so guests can prepare themselves meals in the privacy of their own space. Meals can be enjoyed on the patio with a bottle of wine while listening to the sounds of the crickets. A dishwasher makes cleaning up afterwards a breeze.

Outside, guests can explore the grounds of the estate, which include a communal swimming pool, perfect for taking a dip on a hot afternoon to cool down. A barbecue is also available for some al fresco cooking and dining. Located near the Sierra de San Pedro and the Portuguese border, guests have an array of outdoor activities to enjoy as well as ancient sites to visit including the cities of Mérida and Cáceres.

The cottages all have access to a large communal swimming pool where guests can cool off in the summer sun, and there is a large lawn with colorful plants and tall trees that provide plenty of shade. There is free on-site parking as well as free Wi-Fi, and each cottage comes with a barbecue grill, a patio with furniture, a fireplace, and air conditioning.
