Cosy Lapland Cabin on Lehtisaari Island for Glamping in Sweden
Arctic cabin for a holiday in Lapland
This cosy Lapland cabin is located on Lehtisaari Island, and is the ideal spot for two to go glamping in Sweden. Inside the cabin, there are two twin beds appointed with soft bedding and linens to ensure a good night's sleep. There is no running water on the island, but guests can collect fresh water from the river pump and clean themselves in the traditional Sami way, in the private sauna.
The warm and inviting interior is warmed by a wood-burning fireplace, with firewood provided. Meals can be prepared in the kitchenette, consisting of a microwave, a two-burner stove, a small oven, a small fridge, a kettle and a coffeemaker.
The island is only accessible by snowmobile during winter and by boat during summer, adding to the unique Norrland holiday experience. A guide will collect guests from the Kiruna Guidetur office and drive them out through the forest, so they can sit back and relax during a short boat/snowmobile-sled tour through the sparkling arctic landscape to the cabin on the island.
