Graubünden

Graubünden is what Switzerland refers to as a canton, i.e., a state—one of 26 cantons, Graubünden being the largest of them all. This vast state was meant for outdoor explorations and adventures, from the Swiss National Park and Ela Nature Park to the Grison Alps. Brush up on your German, Romansh, and Italian, as Graubünden calls all their official languages. Medieval castles and ruins are sprinkled all across the state, three of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Benedictine Convent of Saint John, the Swiss Tectonic Arena Sardona, and the Rhaetian Railway. Glamping in Graubünden will take travelers to cozy, eco-pods in the city of Flims, known to be one of the best areas for skiing. Get wrapped up in the forested wonderland that surrounds you while luxury camping in Graubünden, but don't forget to make a stop at the Schlössli, a traditional, Swiss building that holds the Flims' town council.
