Scenic views
This remote beach rental is located at the southern tip of Phuket island near Rawai Beach, Thailand. Laem Ka is a small popular rocky bay close by, and Coconut is an offshore isle a 30-minute boat ride away with beautiful beaches and options for snorkeling and diving. Prom Thep Cape is about one and a half miles from Rawai Beach and has high cliffs and spectacular sunsets. Here there is an elephant shrine near to a fine Thai restaurant. A unique attraction is the Big Buddha, a massive white marble statue which can be seen from most of the island. It's 147 feet and one of the largest seated Buddhas in the world. From the top, there are panoramic sea views.
Rawai has many bars along the seafront, and at Laguna Plaza, there is a complex of themed bars where glampers can socialize over a drink and play pool until the club opens at two in the morning, with music until sunrise. Nearby is Kata Beach, with its variety of bars and restaurants, and Patong, with its eventful nightlife along Soi Bangla, a road that has hundreds of restaurants, bars, and nightclubs.
Glampers can also take a boat for island-hopping Ko Phi Phi islands, known as some of the most gorgeous yet accessible islands in the world. Depending on the island, there may be more or less development and infrastructure, but no matter what there will be stunning views all around.
Phuket International Airport is an hour away by car.
