Family-Friendly Yurt Rental in the Lake District, England
"We had the most amazing time weather was great. Drove through Cumbrian Mountains which was breath taking. Visited Coniston, Ambleside and Keswick -- …"
This large yurt sleeps up to four guests on a double bed and a double futon bed. With this rental, guests will have everything they could possibly need right for a glamping vacation ... so they can relax with their feet up by the wood burning fire. The dome has a large window to let in plenty of light and fresh air, as well as providing a great spot to gaze out at the lake from the comfort of the rental. A delightful kitchenette with cooking utensils, a stove, and a toaster allows glampers to make meals, or they can wander to the local village for a pub dinner. A proper table and chairs are provided for meal times and for games, as glampers won't always want to sit on a futon, despite them being extra comfortable. For outdoor dining, there is a BBQ grill and outdoor seating available.
There is a communal toilet block and a washing up and shower block, which are cleaned every day.
With Great Lake access, guests can get onto the lake with their own canoes, kayaks, boats, or into the lake for a swim at their leisure—there is no charge for this, although there is a $9 charge for a dinghy, which is a small inflatable rubber boat.
