There are five pods in total on this property. There are two that sleep two people, and another three pods that can sleep four guests. Each pod is carpeted, has electric lighting, and mains power. Whatever the time of year, this camping pod will be properly cozy and resiliant against the outside weather, with double glazed windows and sheep’s wool insulation for the walls. For glamper´s comfort and convenience, each pod also has its own private, lockable bathroom, with shower, sink and wash basin, situated in a block adjacent to the pods, so guests needn´t worry about shared showering facilities.
The camp also has many other facilities for glampers, including free Wi-Fi so guests can stay connected to loved ones, check the weather, or post snaps of their vacation on social media. There is a washer and dryer, and washing up facilities in the camp, allowing those staying for longer periods of time to stay fresh and clean. A communal BBQ and seating area means glampers can cook up a hearty meal in rain or shine.
Guests also have acces to a Woodland Garden and to a private Nature Reserve, an ideal setting for a morning coffee or an afternoon stroll. For those days that are a little cooler and damper than glampers would wish for, guests have access to a “Rainy Day Room”. Heated and comfortably furnished with sofas, chairs and table, it is perfect for board games and quiet reading.

These pods are situated in beautiful North Devon countryside and a mile from the border with Cornwall, and the rentals make the best of their geographical position and natural assets. With the market town of Holsworthy, 5 miles, and the coastal town of Bude in Cornwall being only 6 miles away. The property is a 54 acre farm situated in open countryside and it adjoins the Dunsdon National Nature Reserve. This area is brimming with historical places of interest, museums and castles such as Castle Drogo, which was the last castle to be built in Britain. Lydford Gorge has a spectacular waterfall, long and short walks through the oak wooded gorge, and a river perfect for a picnicing alongside.
The vast network of quiet lanes, open countryside and beautiful coastal path, make North Devon and Cornwall the ideal location for walking holidays. With many of the old dis-used railway tracks having been converted into dedicated paths and cycle ways, including the Ruby, Tarka and Camel Trails, that are both ideal and interesting for both dedicated ramblers and for families with children. The local coastal towns are perfect for sampling many delicious meals, exploring rock pools as a family and counting crabs, or for practising surfing like the professionals.
