Description of Glamping Units
There are 10 luxury tents at the lodge, all named after animals that are protected in the Park: Monkey, Gorilla, Elephant, Zebra, Rhino, Cheetah, Lion, Eland, Buffalo, and Wild Dog. All of the tents offer comfortable single beds, bed-linens, fluffy towels, storage, and electric lighting. The Rhino, Cheetah and Lion tents contain either a four poster or double sleigh bed so they are a bit more expensive. The tents overlook an enclosed area where a variety of African animals such as zebra, giraffe and rhino can be seen as they wander in to drink at the watering hole. Be sure to bring your camera; there will be plenty of photogenic animals and picture-perfect moments. Read More

Ever wanted to go on an African Safari but don’t have the time or money to travel all the way to Africa? Well you can safari without emptying your bank account. This is the United Kingdom's only overnight safari lodge and it is located at Port Lympne, Kent. Enjoy an incredible safari experience along with a magical night under the stars, first-class authentic African dining, safari at dawn, full breakfast, and more.
Begin your stay with a complimentary welcome glass of Amarula. You’ll have the chance to meet the other guests, ranger and host as you check in your luggage. The ranger will then go through the required health and safety procedures. You’ll climb aboard a safari vehicle and embark on the first of your many safaris. The vehicle will stop en route, giving you plenty of opportunities to get some stunning photos of the wildlife so be sure to have your camera and binoculars ready.
The safari will end with a drive to the tented camp, which is situated on 100 acres of a unique Africa Experience where animals are free to roam just like in the plains of Africa. Upon arrival at the lodge, you will settle into your stunning, luxurious tented safari-style accommodation.
Once you have settled in and unpacked, washed up, etc. you’ll walk a few hundred yards to join your fellow visitors at the restaurant for an authentic five-course African-style dinner. Dinner, including vegetarian options, consists of a choice of starters cooked on an open pit fire, salads, desserts and cheese board followed by coffee and chocolate truffles. Once dinner is over, you can then retire to the starlight seclusion of your luxury safari tent and private veranda. And that’s only day one. Read More
