These shepherd huts in East Sussex, England, are outdoor living with a twist—luxury, comfort, beautiful countryside and the great outdoors. The two huts can sleep up to four adults and two young children.
The main hut has a king-size bed with two small bunk beds fit for young children. The king-size bed will be awaiting your arrival made with beautiful white bed linens. The two 5ft long bunk beds for young children (one bunk is above the king-size bed and the second bunk doubles up as the seat) have stylish, snug sleeping bags.
In the second shepherd's hut, there are two full-size single bunk beds—big enough for grown-ups to sleep in too!
Bedding is supplied including fleecy blankets and hot water bottles. Each hut comes with its own wood burners to keep you warm on colder nights. Logs are available to buy locally. A picnic bench and an outdoor fire pit are also supplied.
A wind turbine with a solar panel sits elegantly next to the shepherd huts and provides all the power needed for an eco-friendly experience, making this a sustainable holiday choice. Read More

The main shepherd hut has a bespoke kitchen area. The kitchen is fully equipped with stylish melamine kitchenware. You'll find everything you need for your stay including the bottle opener! There is a fridge and also a two ring gas hob and sink.
There is also a thoughtfully designed shower room with a porcelain toilet, and hand basin, and white waffle towels are supplied.

Secluded in a corner of a beautiful rural estate, part of Bentley Wildfowl and Motor Museum, near Halland, East Sussex, this site is just 15 minutes from the historic town of Lewes and 30 minutes from the City of Brighton. With room to roam and explore this is an ideal location for a family adventure or a romantic getaway. It is within easy reach of Glyndebourne Opera House and for Bloomsbury enthusiasts Charleston Farmhouse is just 8 miles away. For a single entry fee, you’ll be able to access all of Bentley Wildfowl & Motor Museum during your stay at our shepherd huts. Children have plenty to entertain them at Bentley: a playground with tree platforms, willow tunnels, a miniature railway (check for running times), hundreds of ducks to feed in the wildfowl reserve, vintage cars in the motor museum, and a magical woodland walk. The huts welcome you to unwind, read a book, play outside and enjoy the view. The huts are stocked with board games and outdoor games for use during your stay, including skittles, quoits, rounders, and much more. There is also a small reading library.
