There are apple crates to use as bedside tables, a center table or storage, as well as cushions. A LED hurricane lamp is supplied with either a crank, recharchable batteries, or solar power. A trunk has been placed in each tent and given a new use as a cool box come table. There is a freezer on-site for changing the cool packs over. To keep the cozy tent comfortable inside throughout guests' stay, the hosts provide a large bell tent awning, creating a shelter for boots, cooking, and maybe some stargazing.
Additionally, each tent is provided with a Kitchen Box, which includes all the necessities for cooking while glamping. Each tent will be provided with a fire pit, which also doubles up as a barbecue and a gas stove for guests' culinary camping creations. Keeping it stylish, there will also be a crate of vintage inspired cooking and dining ware: enamel dining ware, a plate, a bowl, and a mug for each person, cooking pots, a frying pan, a kettle, and a tea/coffee pot. There is also a spatula, wooden spoons, serving spoons, a masher, a sieve, a tea/coffee strainer, a bottle opener, a can opener, cutlery, a scourer, and tea towels. Guests will additionally find a box of basic pantry essentials, such as oil, salt, pepper, and sugar.
Outside each tent, there is a picnic table, a fire pit/barbecue, jam jars, and tea lights. A fire starting kit and some wood for the first night are supplied, and more can be picked up from the honesty shop. There is a washing up area near the tents with running water and washing up liquid.
There are toilets and showers within the gardens around 200 meters away. There is a cold water stand pipe behind the sauna, and there are hot water washing up facilities outside the shower block.
There is a field shelter outfitted with seating, a ping pong table, and games, as well as the aforementioned honesty shop. Around the corner is the wood-fired pizza oven, and the sauna is in the corner of the field.

Walk over the fields to Itteringham, where guests will find the best little country store around, selling local produce and serving teas. For dinner, head to the fab Walpole Arms and enjoy a torch-lit walk home. Closer to home, there is the Greedy Goose Tearoom on-site, which is great for Sunday brunch once packed up.
Mannington is surrounded by some fantastic cycling, along beautiful sheltered leafy lanes linking up some of the counties best pubs for family riding or heading up through the wooded dells to the coast for a longer stretch. Guests can book bikes with the hosts, and they will have them ready for when they arrive!
Additionally, there is the amazing North Norfolk coastline, with the sandy beaches of West Runton Cromer and Overstrand an easy back lane drive away, and the pebbly splendor of Cley by the sea, a 20-minute drive. It's also a divine spot for an evening swim.

Mannington Hall and Norfolk boast an array of activities for any discerning guest. Guests have access to 20 miles of interesting footpaths on the grounds of Mannington Hall. With interesting walks around the lakes and gardens, pond dipping, and bird watching, there is plenty for the entire family. Try the tea and baked goods at The Greedy Goose Tearoom for some afternoon delights. The quiet paradise of Norfolk and its surrounds offer nature walks, biking in the rolling countryside, arts, crafts, stunning gardens, tearooms, and local pubs and restaurants offering the famous fish and chips. North Norfolk offers plenty of rich cultural history for the history buffs. Norfolk is known as the cradle of British civilization and guests can always spot a Saxon or Norman church tower rising into the sky. Norfolk offers plenty for all interests and pockets.
