Description of Glamping Units
All yurts are handcrafted and insulated to withstand the elements. Each features local, reclaimed furniture, organic, fair trade rugs, sheepskins and cushions, and duck down duvets and pillows.The yurts include handcrafted, recycled wood double beds and comfy organic camping beds from recycled material. The accommodations are fully equipped. They come with wood-burning stoves, a dual camping gas stove, a storage and butchers block for all cooking and eating essentials. Moreover, the yurts are equipped with candles, torches and lanterns.
Outside you'll find a lovely sitting porch that is perfect for gazing at the stars at night. The yurts have enough wood for a couple of days and candles are included. Outside there is a fire pit, hammock and reclaimed wood table. Water from water carriers are filled and extra water can be gathered from the standpipe.

The site and its native American tipis are nestled on between lush meadows, Downey Birches, Hawthorns and a gently splashing stream nearby. Right on your doorstep you'll encounter the Northumberland National Park, whose landscape is an outstanding mix of imposing hills, crystal blue rivers and the breathtaking Kielder Water - Europe's biggest man-made lake. The site is suitable for a couples retreat, a family holiday to escape the daily grind or an adventurous and fun trip with friends.
