On the property, there are unbeatable views of the traditional English countryside. Sit in the outdoor chairs or relax by the pond on a rug and watch the sunset or check out the stars at night. Guests can head into town to the local pub, The Butchers Arms, for some hearty meals. The pub is a ten-minute walk down the fields from the cottage. Nearby is the Lake District National Park, with plenty of hiking and biking trails. The park also has the largest peak in England, Scafell Pike, which guests can climb as part of the famous three peak challenge.
