In the third bedroom, there are two single-size beds, and a baby’s crib is available upon request. In the first clean and modern bathroom, guests will find a toilet, a sink, and a shower and bathtub combination. The second bathroom features a walk-in shower. Freshly-laundered linens and towels are provided by the host.

Guests who take the four-mile ride to Aira Force will be rewarded with a landscaped Victorian park and dramatic waterfalls.

History buffs shouldn't miss the chance to visit Penrith Castle, which is situated within a public park and is free to enter. The castle is now a ruin, but some of the walls still survive to their full height. Less than half a mile away is the Penrith Museum, with its fascinating display of Roman pottery.
