This glamping site offers two different kinds of yurts, unique type of accommodation that will bring you closer to nature and help you relax to the maximum.

Barn Owl yurt: This yurt will comfortably fit 2 adults on a lovely double bed. It has a wood burner and a small cooker for you to make some tea or a basic meal. You could squeeze another person on a comfy floor mattress, but you would lose a bit of floor space in doing so. The site can erect a small dome tent next to the yurt that children can stay in. (This tent would not be visible from the rest of the field as it is behind a bamboo screen.)

Kingfisher yurt: This yurt will only fit 2 adults. It has a double bed, wood burner and small cooker. The site can erect a small dome tent next to the yurt that children can stay in. (This tent would not be visible from the rest of the field as it is behind a bamboo screen.)

At this campsite, you’ll find a sturdy wooden clad bathroom/kitchen area. There is also one room with a shower, toilet and sink with running hot water 24 hours a day. The water comes from the spring, and the heat comes from solar panels. Below you’ll find a few more amenities you’ll find at this beautiful glamping site.

When you arrive to the site, you will be provided with a welcome pack with local cider, chickens eggs from the organic farm, bedding, wood (the first big basket of wood is free, and a help-yourself-supply with an honesty box is available for any more baskets that you need after that), a communal fridge freezer, pots, pans, cutlery and a host of other useful bits and bobs to make your stay comfortable.

All you really need to bring is your wellies, waterproofs, towels, a flashlight, food and drink (fresh spring water is freely available), and a sense of adventure!

Relax in your own hammock (each yurt has one)

Walk around the farm – there is a large wildlife pond and some spectacular views

Cook over an open fire with a Dutch oven, or even with the conventional BBQ or double gas grill

Gaze at the stars

There are many other activities including chess and Jenga, boules , viking chess (Kubb), rope quoits, football, welly wanging and swing ball (plus 9 acres of field for the children to ride their bikes in

Each yurt has its own seating area, but there is also a VERY LARGE communal table that could fit all your friends and family

Pick your own fruits and vegetables (seasonal) in the patch onsite, and plus there’s many a hedgerow for other seasonal berries

Use your yurt as a base from which to explore the surrounding area, and the site will provide you with a handy compiled booklet that details more than 60 local attractions and 20 places to dine locally

Don’t miss out on the picturesque village of Polperro with its narrow, winding streets and alleyways with cottages perched on steep slopes overlooking the harbour. Here you can sample the many restaurants and pubs, have an ice cream or go to the Polperro Heritage Museum of Smuggling and Fishing. The pubs often host live music and performances during the summer months and the Polperro Festival takes place every June.
