Description of Glamping Units
For the ultimate adventure, guests can immerse themselves in nature and stay in a basic camping pod near Dalbeattie Mountain Bike Trail in Scotland. There is a carpeted floor and two double pull-out foam beds which can double as chairs. There is access to the on-site bathroom and shower facilities.
The pods are heated making them perfect all year round. They have electricity, which includes lights and powerpoints to keep phones charged. Guests will have a kettle and a small fridge, great for storing snacks. Outside, there is a decking area, a picnic table, and fire pit, where everyone can gather around roasting marshmallows. There is plenty of parking at the site. The camp kitchen is equipped with pots and pans, plates, dishes, glasses, and cutlery. The appliances include an oven hob, a kettle, a microwave, and a toaster. In the warmer months, outdoor washing up sinks are available for use. In the kitchen, there are dining tables and a relaxing lounge area. There are shared bathroom facilities available including shower blocks. Guests will also have access to laundry facilities. For those bringing their bikes, they will find a secure bike store. There is a washing down area for pets. Wi-Fi can be supplied at an additional cost. Guests should bring their own bedding, linens, and towels.

This lovely glamping site truly allows guests to get in touch with nature as they find themselves surrounded by the beautiful Scottish wilderness, one hour east of Carlisle and just down the road from Dumfries. Located on private land, guests will find themselves enveloped by trees and fresh air. There is plenty to do and see near the site, perfect for nature lovers and those looking to explore their surroundings. Right at the site, guests can rent bikes allowing them the freedom to explore the roads and paths nearby. Mountain biking is also popular in the area with trails suitable for everyone, from novices to advanced riders. Visitors can explore the area by foot with endless miles of forested paths. There are also horseback rides available nearby. Kids will love Drumlanrig Castle's Adventure Playground and the little ones will adore Mabie Farm Park and Dino Park, where they can learn all about the giants who used to roam the earth. There are historic castles in the area and museums for those looking for some culture where they can learn about this history of the area.
