The river yurt is set right on the river, offering best access for river walks and picnics. It is one of the most popular units for couples.
The ash valley yurt is set at the top end of the site, with beautiful views down over the whole site and valley, including from the bath! It is the most accessible rental and has a private parking spot and an easy walk up a slight slope.
The waterfall yurt, by a lovely waterfall, is often enjoyed by families; a little footpath leads to the bath and onwards for some beautiful views through the forest. Children can enjoy running in the meadow.
Inside all the yurts there is a beautiful hand-crafted wood-burning stove (with wood provided) and a double bed with warm bedding and plenty of cushions and sheepskin rugs. The yurts have a two ring gas stove for cooking, complete with pots, utensils, plates and cutlery, a clay cooking pot to keep milk cool, and tea/coffee/hot chocolate. The hosts provide tealights for the lanterns which light the yurt at night.
The private bathroom has an eco-loo, a shower, and outdoor wood-fired bath just for guests; and there is also a private seating and campfire area outside.
Up to two children are allowed, free of charge.
