This family-friendly getaway is located near the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland and can accommodate 14 guests. There are five bedrooms and three bathrooms. The first bedroom comes with a queen-size bed, a private bathroom, a fireplace, a sitting area, and three windows with views of the property and the bay. The second bedroom comes with a queen-size bed and a separate sitting room containing two single beds that can be converted to a king-size bed, while the third bedroom has two twin mattresses and a balcony overlooking the beach. The fourth bedroom comes with a double bed, and the fifth bedroom comes with a double bed and a twin bed. In addition, the first-floor library can accommodate two more guests who cannot take the stairs, and a wheelchair ramp is provided upon request.
The first and second floor bathrooms are shared, and all three bathrooms come with a toilet, a sink, and a shower. Linens and towels are provided. The first and third bedrooms are used by the owner's pets, so guests with allergies should be advised of pet hair.
The living room is warm and cozy with a television and a fireplace. The entire property has 19 furnaces for extra warmth during the winter months. The fully-equipped kitchen comes with an oven, a stove, a microwave, and a refrigerator. Other amenities include a dining room, Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, and parking.
The property overlooks the pristine waters of the Chesapeake Bay. Guests will have a beautiful view of the bay from every room in the cottage. A beach is easily accessible as well as a rocky ledge for fishing. In addition, there is a dock for crabbing and a wooded area for a leisurely stroll. The West River is nearby for a fun kayak ride.
