Harwood

There’s not much to do in the small town of Harwood when it comes to the outdoors, but if you’re staying there, you can easily access Maryland’s Eastern Bay. Head 15 minutes east and you’ll stumble upon a number of coastal attractions, including Beverley Beach. The quaint stretch of sand is a good place to visit for hearty picnics, and you won’t have to worry about tourists crowding it, as it’s mostly a beach for locals. Nearby is Sandy Point State Park.
