The kitchen is equipped with modern appliances, which are fully functional for guests who want to prepare their own food. Cookware and cutlery are also provided.
Outside, there is a large patio with a grill and a picnic table with chairs, which are great for cookouts. Canoes, kayaks, and paddle-boats are docked on the property and guests have full access to them. There is also a fire pit, perfect for bonfires or s'mores, and guests are just a few feet away from the serene waters of Lake Owassa.

For guests who can't resist the lure of the water, there is a yurt just a few feet from the lake's edge, which can be used to change wet clothes in or as another hang-out spot, especially for those with kids. Various watercraft, like canoes, kayaks, and a paddleboat, are available for guests. Fishing gear is also on hand for those who are into the sport. In addition, there are a fire pit and a large patio complete with picnic tables, chairs, and a barbecue for cook-outs.

The New Jersey Performing Arts Center is one of the biggest venues in the country for performing arts, and guests can easily go here to catch a show. High Point State Park in Sussex County is a popular attraction in the region for its spectacular views, given that its the highest point in the Kittatinny Mountains. Newark Liberty International Airport is the closest major airport to the property at about an hour away by car.
Lake Owassa is a peaceful and laid back area perfect for non-motorized watercrafts to move around and explore. Kayaks, canoes, and other boating equipment are supplied to guests who wish to explore the water. Those who love hooking and catching fish are also provided with a fishing gear and directed to the best spots to cast a bait in the lake. For those who prefer land-based activities, there are Appalachian trails to hike in the nearby Stokes State Forest. Guests who want to see spectacular mountain views can go to High Point State Park, which is where the highest portion of the Kittatinny Mountains is located.
