Shavertown Trail is popular and offers a bit of a challenge, however; the view of the Pepacton Reservoir makes it worthwhile. Additionally, there are picnic spots along the way and ample opportunity to spot birdlife and wildlife.
Avid anglers can pack up their fishing gear and head to Pepacton Reservoir, just three miles from the tent, which boasts the biggest brown trout in the east and makes for a wonderful day out.
