Arkville lies in the Catskill Mountains, and is a small place almost entirely defined by the rolling, green hills that surround it. Peaceful hiking trails can be found at Lazy Crazy Acres Farm, which lights up when sunset rolls around, and Dry Brook ridge has trails that run along a ravine. You could even venture up to Halcott Mountain to catch glowing views in the fall months as you hike.
