Scenic Cooperstown Camping Getaway near Otsego Lake
Truly idyllic places to stay in New York
This lovely Cooperstown camping rental is ideal for glamping in New York. Getaways here will be a great experience for the whole group and guests will be just four miles from Cooperstown nestled on 14 acres of meadow 200 yards off a quiet country road. Glampers also enjoy free access to a canoe for Otsego Lake.
The New York luxury camping rental comes with a queen bunk bed as well as a large picnic table, an outdoor fire pit, two Adirondack chairs, and a heating source. Guests should note that linens and bedding are not provided. The hosts also advise guests to bring s'mores, a cooler, firewood, and water supplies.
The New York luxury camping site has a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to five gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.
The hosts were inspired by the bathrooms on NASA spaceships when creating the camp toilets. Before use, guests must line the bucket with a CleanWaste bag that is provided by the hosts, or a similar plastic bag. After use, the bag must be tied up and placed in the trash.
After a wonderful day at the lake, guests can stop by in local Cooperstown to enjoy the many local bars and restaurants.
