East Meredith

East Meredith is a small hamlet located between three natural treasures of New York: the Finger Lakes, the Adirondack Mountains, and the Catskills. It is a place that many people visit for this reason, but also to catch some calm countryside air away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The nearby Burnt-Rossman Hills State Forest is a great place to go on forested hikes through the wilderness, and you can also see nature at its finest here. You could even make the short trip south to the Catskills, where glowing orange fall colors light up the mountains, and where you can roam through the rolling mountain wilderness. The Schoharie Reservoir is a great place to hike around the water’s edge.
