Glampers staying at this cheerful farm in New York will find plenty to do either right on the property or in the area around Cooperstown, which is widely recognized as a hub of American history and culture. On the property, guests will have the opportunity to meet and care for the animals and complete farm tasks, either by collecting eggs from the chickens, combing the cashmere coats of the goats, or harvesting vegetables from the gardens around the farmhouse.

In Cooperstown, glampers can sit down for a meal at one of the grills, taverns, or atmospheric restaurants around the town center, or meander through the historic district to learn about the heritage of the area. Of course, the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum is not to be missed, but glampers can also spend a few good hours in the Fenimore Art Museum or The Farmers’ Museum in town, or go for a tour of Cooperstown Distillery or Brewery Ommegang. On Otsego Lake, guests can rent boats and head out onto the water or book a boat tour of the harbor, with stunning views of the surrounding wilderness visible from the center of the lake. Glampers can also hike and mountain bike in the national and state forests not far from the farm.
