Set in the heart of the Adirondacks of New York State, the town of Hague and the surrounding area offer glampers endless opportunities for outdoor recreation. Pharaoh Lake Wilderness Area boasts great hiking trails including Crane Pond Trail that leads to wonderful views of the ravine and Alder Creek. For a day on the water, glampers can grab their oars and kayak or canoe Schroon Lake and Schroon River. Additionally, northern Lake George attracts glampers year round and offers a multitude of summertime activities including boating, swimming, sailing, and water sports, as well as superb fishing.
During the winter, the area is popular for ice fishing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling with miles of groomed trails. For a slower pace, there are vibrant concerts that take place in the town parks, ample fairs showcasing arts and crafts, and local flavors waiting to be savored.
