Cute Glamping Destination on Christmas Tree Farm in New York
Tented Cabin | New York
Watch the sun go down and the stars come out. The wolves can be heard in the morning from the nearby Animal Adventure. The campsite is accessible by car. Once you're here, we provide:
- gas grill
-bunk beds (air mattresses)
-Mugs, wine glasses, plastic cutlery
-paper towels and TP provided
-porta potty hiding in the trees nearby
We also include everything you'll need to make your morning cup of coffee on the grill and a complimentary s'mores kit. You're welcome to enjoy the pond located down the hill from the campsite - fish (catch & release), swim, and use the paddle boat. If you're looking for a challenge, complete the tree farm scavenger hunt. Animal Adventure, home of April the Giraffe, is 3 miles away. Our local craft brewery, the Beer Tree, is open for dinner, as well as lunch on Saturdays and brunch on Sundays. In addition, Cole Park and Chenango Valley State Park are close by for a day of hiking and adventure. We have built a roof over our picnic table. We also have propane heat available.
Two-night minimum stay.
Your campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent, you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed (see photos for the exact setup). The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night.
Group Camping: We welcome campers with larger parties, but the standard setup only includes the canvas tent plus the additional pop-up dome tent. You may need and are encouraged to bring additional camping gear of your own if you plan on camping with a large party.
Max Occupancy refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation. You may have as many campers in your party up to the maximum limit that is set for the listing, but please note that the only bed provided as a standard amenity is the one set up inside the canvas tent.
Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet. This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterward, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean. Every campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.
What you should bring:
-S'mores supplies & any food you'd like to eat
-A cooler to keep your grub from spoiling
-Bedding and pillows
-Lanterns and lighting
-Firewood for the campfire
If a CampKeeper submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the CampKeeper’s property, the host reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!
Other Things to Note:
