Haverstraw

Haverstraw is a place defined almost entirely by a bustling natural landscape, which welcomes a large number of visitors every year. It is a place that many people come to when they are looking for an abundance of outdoor activities to enjoy. Famously, the area encompasses the legendary town of Sleepy Hollow, but there is much more to it than that. In fact, Bear Mountain State Park is one of the most popular spots in the area, and has a range of activities, such as hiking, wild swimming, fishing, and climbing, to be enjoyed. Harriman State Park has sprawling lakes to hike around and fish in, and boasts some amazing views. Yet, New Croton Dam has the best views of the area.
