The waterfront glamping accommodation can sleep up to 10 people among its four bedrooms and up to 12 when including the queen-size, pull-out beds. Three bedrooms each have one queen-size bed, while the fourth bedroom has a queen-size bed and two twin beds. It also has one full bathroom and one half bathroom, both of which have a toilet and a sink and only one with a shower. The downstairs bathroom also holds the washer and dryer.
The living room has a television with a DVD player, a stereo with a CD player and radio, books, and games for children and adults. In the fully equipped kitchen, glampers will have everything they need to whip up meals for the whole group, including a four-burner stove, an oven, a microwave, a coffee grinder and coffeemaker, a refrigerator and freezer, a toaster, a dishwasher, a blender, basic pantry items, and all necessary cooking and serving utensils and tools. There is a dining area with seating for 12 people, too.
Outside, guests have access to the deck and dock, a wood-fired cedar hot tub, a gas barbecue, a motorboat, two kayaks, eight beach chairs, and 10 garden chairs. The glamping site is located on Trout Lake in the Adirondack region. This accommodation features a 141-foot stone and wood deck, as well as a runabout boat and two kayaks for going around the lake. There is also a wood-fired cedar hot tub and a gas barbecue on the deck.
The lake is filled with tiny islands to which guests can visit in the boat, and a third of it is surrounded by 1,600-acres of state park. The property is also only one hour from the Adirondack High Peaks, which includes 46 peaks of the Adirondack Mountains.

Hermon is a town in northern New York, comprised of both the town and a village by the same name. For fishing, boating, and other water sports, Trout Lake, located on the southern side of town where the glamping property is, will be a key source of entertainment and activity.
Combine a glamping trip to northern New York with a day trip to Ottawa, Canada—the closest major city to Hermon, as the town sits almost on the border of New York and Canada. Outdoor adventures abound in Hermon and the surrounding area. On-site, glampers have Trout Lake to enjoy for swimming, boating, kayaking, tubing, and other on-water sports. The lake is stocked annually with rainbow trout, lake trout, smallmouth bass, and largemouth bass, as well as perch and rock bass naturally exist in the lake, so guests will enjoy fishing here, too.
At only an hour from the Adirondack High Peaks, hiking, climbing, and biking adventures are but a quick trip away, though the state park on one side of the lake will also do the trick for glampers who don’t feel like hopping in the car. In addition, 50 minutes from the property, guests will find some of the best whitewater rafting in the entire country on the Black River, if looking for more of an adrenaline rush while on vacation.
A day trip to Ottawa, Canada, is also an option to experience a bit of big city life while glamping in Upstate New York. There are beautiful waterfall trails at 20 minutes from the property, Lake Placid and the site of two Winter Olympics at 90 minutes away, Alexandria Bay at about 60 minutes, and Syracuse at 120 minutes away, for other examples of places and cities to visit while staying at this accommodation.
