Description of Glamping Units
This rustic cabin rental is situated in the Hudson Valley of Upstate New York and is a great accommodation for a small family or a small group of friends. The house is open plan and can sleep up to four guests. There is a queen-size bed in the upper mezzanine and two single futons, which are ideal for children. The couch in the main living area can also be opened up to a full sized futon. The cabin is very open and spacious and the natural lighting illuminates the cabin. The bathroom has both a shower and bathtub and is located off the sleeping loft.
In the downstairs area, glampers will find an abundance of nice furniture and a fully equipped kitchen stocked with utensils, pots, pans, appliances, (including a burr coffee grinder and a digital kettle) some basic cooking essentials such as oils and spices, freshly roasted coffee beans and an assortment of tea. The outside deck has an outdoor grill which is perfect for a summertime barbecue. This unit also comes with a washer/dryer.
The cabin is designed to take advantage gorgeous breeze and stave off the summer heat. During the winter, the cabin is warm and toasty with a baseboard heat. There is also a fully functioning wood stove which provides extra warmth. Seasoned firewood is always readily available. This property is located just a short five miles away from the nearest main road, in the heart of the Hudson Valley and just across the way are the villages of Rhineback, Hyde Park, and the city of Poughkeepsie. This cabin is located on 40 secluded, forested acres in the Ulster County with magnificent views of the Catskill Mountains and seasonal views of Mohonk Mountain. Glampers will have access to nature from all angles at this site. The site is near New Paltz, Stone Ridge, High Falls and Rosendale and close to the world-renown cliffs of Shwangunks. When visiting The Belleayre and Hunter Mountain Ski region, glampers will find an unbeatable winter attraction which is just under an hour's drive from this site. The Bellyeares Mountain is an hour's drive away, which offers excellent skiing and mountain biking opportunities. The local golf clubs are fabulous for those looking for a bit of relaxation on the greens. Glampers will also find an abundance of great restaurants, vintage antique stores, and art galleries. The nearby mountains and valley like the Shwangunks. are excellent hiking, trekking, and rock climbing spots.
