Inlet

Like many small towns, Inlet rests on the shores of a lake, which make it the ideal place to visit if you are looking for a calm and relaxing camping getaway. It is a place that many people see as a gateway town into the surrounding Adirondack Mountains, due to the town being nestled deep in the heart of the mountain wilderness. Not only this, but the abundance of outdoor recreational activities makes it popular among campers. Walk around the edges of the Fulton Chain of Lakes, where there are plenty of hiking and fishing opportunities, and head into the Pigeon Lake Wilderness. Here, you can catch mountain views as you hike across wetlands, and you can also see local wildlife.
