This rustic, waterfront cottage in New York can accommodate two guests and features one bedroom and one full bathroom (with a hot shower). The cottage has waterfront access, scenic views, its own private dock, a canoe for guests' use, and a "meet and greet" for guest and gear transport into and out of the camp. Guests can also launch their own boat, and there is free car parking at the boat launch.

Inside the cottage, guests will have a fully equipped kitchen with a full-size refrigerator and freezer, a television, a VCR player, a hot plate, all necessary utensils to cook, and a telephone. There is also a covered living room porch with a gas grill, and an adjacent outdoor fire pit.

Included with the cabin are free car parking and RT motorboat transport. This cabin is the only small hideaway available in this unique, historic community. The absence of light pollution allows for a brilliant night sky display for stargazers.

While glamping here, couples swim in privacy just steps from the covered porch, which is itself just steps from the comfy queen-size bed inside the cabin. Out the back door, guests can stroll to Bear Pond, where they can start right from the cabin dock and climb St. Regis Mountain, canoe three lakes and a river, watch antique sailboats compete, and paddle around in the canoe provided to see the old "Great Camps" dotted along the shore, as well as quietly appreciate the peaceful happiness these pristine waters offer. Glampers will be given a topo map marked with the routes suggested by previous happy campers at Ted's, as well as the property owner’s expertise on this tiny corner of the Adirondack Park's six million acres. From the private dock, swim in pristine Upper St. Regis Lake, home waters for the "Idem Racing Sloops," as seen at the Adirondack Museum. Other activities include boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, and sailing.

This property is pet-friendly; water dogs have the time of their lives! Controlled pets are welcome for a fee of $100 per animal per week, up to two dogs, which must be medium-size or smaller. It's best if dogs are comfortable in boats and canoes at this water-access-only site. Pets must not be left alone in the cabin unless crated; the guest is responsible for transporting crate to/from the site.
