This pet-friendly vacation rental near Onchiota, New York, can accommodate up to six glampers at a time. The front yard has some Adirondack chairs that face the water and a full patio situated off to the side, which also includes a large stone fireplace that’s perfect for roasting marshmallows or warming up while stargazing at night. Guests will also find a canoe on the property, which they can use at their leisure from the private dock.

This accommodation has three bedrooms and one full bathroom. It comes with a fully equipped kitchen. In the living room, guests will find an HDTV television with cable access and a DVD player. This getaway is perfect for glampers hoping to spend a few peaceful days on the shore of a picturesque lake in upstate New York. On the property, guests can relax on the patio by the stone fire with a good book, or take a canoe, tandem kayak or rowboat down to the dock and go out to explore the water. On the private beach, guests can spread out in the sand and have a picnic, or build a sandcastle before wading into the cool waters of Loon Lake. There is a hiking trail near the property that leads to the top of Crusher Mountain for better views of the Adirondacks, or guests can opt for one of the paths that weave through the woods nearby.

There is a golf course at the Saranac Inn and Country Club about 35 minutes from the cabin, as well as other water activities and guided boat tours available on Saranac Lake. Guests could also spend the day at Tupper Lake, wandering through the exhibits in the Wild Museum or learning about the history of John Brown and the abolitionist movement at the heritage site nearby. The area is full of natural exhibits and cultural attractions for glampers to choose from throughout their stay.
