Stunning rental in Lake Placid, New York

This newly restored, historic villa in Lake Placid, New York, is from the 1920s and has three unique levels and seven bedrooms in total. In total, 14 guests can be accommodated.The main floor features a modern kitchen, a large butler's pantry, a dining room, living room and library complete with a bar and stone fireplace. There is also an enclosed porch complete with a gas fireplace, as well as a private telephone alcove and a foyer.

The kitchen is chic and fully equipped with cherry hardwood cabinetry, embossed metal ceiling, granite counter tops and gourmet cooking island. The vintage butler's pantry features a walnut counter top and embossed metal ceiling.

On the second floor, there is a master bedroom with a plush king-size bed, a private bath, a fireplace, and porch. The other two bedrooms have private bathrooms and queen-size beds, and the three bedrooms across the way have a shared bathroom and queen-size beds.

The basement has a small butler's apartment with a kitchen, a bedroom, a bath, a shower and small living area. There is also a laundry room and a study/large game room, complete with a pool table.

The property is fitted with modern necessities such as cable TV, Wi-Fi, fireplaces, a pool table, and ceiling fans. The property also has fireplaces, walk-in cedar closets, a wet bar, deck, a garden, a gazebo, and a screen porch, which has a gas fireplace and lake access.

The host has provided books, cable, a DVD player, a stereo, a television, and board games.

There are plenty of outdoor activities for glampers to take part in. The tennis center is nearby which has 6 Har-Tru Courts, there is also marina complete with kayaks, sailboats, and canoes, should glampers with the test out their water skills. The golf course is also nearby so glampers can spend a relaxing afternoon putting. Visitors can also dine at the two season restaurants which are dotted along Lake Placid. Lake Placid is the ultimate destination for winter glampers, as the area is famous for bobsledding, downhill skiing, ice climbing, speed skating and ski jumping. Glampers can also browse the town’s boutiques and dine at the numerous restaurants nearby. Other activities include antiquing, bird watching, sledding, wildlife viewing, beach combing, and walking.
