Montour Falls

Montour Falls is a village that lies at the bottom of the Finger Lakes region, at the southernmost tip of Seneca Lake. It has ties to an area defined by rich vineyards and rolling fields, as well as a number of uniquely shaped lakes that many people visit to participate in water-based sports and to take in lakeside views. The nearby Watkins Glen State Park is famed for encompassing a gorge which runs through the trees, and which can be followed on a series of hiking trails. You can find a true wilderness at Finger lakes National Forest, where a number of outdoor activities and natural views make people wish they never had to leave. Connecticut Wildlife Management Area is somewhere people go to spot local animals as they hike.
