Glampers should be sure to visit Lake George, which is only 30 minutes away just off the Whitewater Hudson River. The lake's Million Dollar Beach has picnic areas and a boat launch, and guests can find restaurants, shops, and cafes in town. During the winter, there is no place better than Gore Mountain for skiing and snowboarding.

Surrounded by the trees and wildlife of the Adirondack Forest, glampers can spend each day hiking through winding trails, mountain biking rugged terrain, or taking pictures of the breathtaking scenery. There is fantastic whitewater rafting only a few miles away, along with kayaking and canoeing in the rivers. When the sun is shining, Million Dollar Beach at Lake George is the perfect place to do some sunbathing, swimming, playing, and picnicking. In the winter, the woods can be explored by cross-country skiing or snowshoeing. Guests should also make sure to visit Gore Mountain for equipment rentals and a day of carving through the snow for some speedy downhill skiing or snowboarding.
