Phelps

Phelps is a village that lies not far from the famous shores of Lake Ontario, and which has the iconic Finger Lakes lying just south. It is a place that many people visit when they are looking for a serene and unique landscape to explore, away from the stresses of daily life. It helps that there is an abundance of water-based and land-based activities that everyone can indulge in. A trip here wouldn’t be complete without a hike along the edges of Lake Ontario, and you can spot local wildlife at Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge, which lies at the tip of nearby Lake Cayuga. Seneca Lake boasts a number of activities, such as swimming and fishing, and lies not far from the sprawling Finger Lakes National Forest.
