This chic cabin rental is situated at the end of a quiet street nestled at the edge of the Catskill Forest Reserve in Phoenicia, New York, and can accommodate four guests.
The cabin features two bedrooms and one full bathroom with gorgeous wood flooring throughout. Both bedrooms consist of a queen-size bed with quality linens, a closet with ample clothing space, a nightstand with reading lamps, and artistic touches throughout. The full bathroom features ornate hex tile floor detail, a shower, a sink, a toilet, and toiletries such as shampoo and conditioner. All bed linens and towels are provided.
The cozy living area is adjoined to the stunningly remodeled kitchen. The living area has a small sofa and seating chairs arranged around a coffee table, a flat-screen television entertainment space, and a vintage indoor wood burning stove fireplace. A sliding glass door opens up onto the deck and refreshing views of the charming surrounding property. The kitchen features an island countertop with a small pull up bar and bar stools, a farmhouse sink, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, an oven, a stove, a toaster, a coffee maker, a kettle, and comes fully outfitted with cooking utensils and dishware.
Outside, guests will find a large deck with patio furniture. This peaceful lounge space is surrounded by a vibrant garden with butterflies and hummingbirds, and it is bordered by a lush forest situated behind the house. A hiking trail can be accessed from the property into the forest.

The best way to enjoy the full experience is by car, but there is also a Trailways bus that comes right into town, about an 18-minute walk from the property. In the fall, the Catskills reveal impressively colorful visuals, with exciting seasonal events like apple picking, cider tasting, and pumpkin patches and corn mazes. Visitors can embark on several trails leading to magical a waterfalls, stumble upon a trailside beer garden for craft beer tasting, wander through arboretums, or dine at some famed Catskill restaurants.
Phoenicia is known as the “tubing capital of the world,” so guests visiting in the summer months won’t want to miss out on an adrenaline-spiking excursion on Esopus Creek. The adventure begins with a school-bus ride up Route 28, where guests are dropped off into the Esopus Creek’s icy cold water for an exhilarating experience rafting the rapids. During winter months, visitors can ski, snowboard, or snow-tube nearby at Belleayre Mountain.
Guests can visit some of the other picturesque small towns in the region, like Windham, just 35 minutes away from the property. This historic town, often referred to as the “gem of the Catskills” is also one of the oldest towns in the region, established over 200 years ago, Guests will love strolling down the historic main street to check out boutique shops, explore the fantastic gastronomy scene, go for a trail bike ride, or golf.
