Prattsburgh

Prattsburgh is a town in the Finger Lakes region, which is defined almost entirely by rolling vineyards that smell of sweet grapes in the summertime. Yet, Prattsburgh is also a place that many people come to when they are seeking a calm natural environment, away from the business of everyday life. In fact, the Heron Hill Winery is home to peaceful vineyards that come alive at sunset, and the nearby Urbana State Forest is the perfect place to go on a light hike through the trees. Head to the shores of nearby Keuka Lake to fish in its depths, or to walk around the water’s edge, and go for hillier hikes through dense trees at Sugar Hill State Forest.
