For those looking for a weekend getaway from Syracuse, New York, this homey, one-room cabin rental is just the place. Accommodating up to four guests among a set of queen-size bunk beds, the cabin is the perfect place to cozy up with loved ones, a good book, and a warm beverage. Guests will have a kitchenette with a small refrigerator, a microwave, a hot plate, a toaster, and all necessary cookware and tableware. In addition, the cabin has a shared bathroom (shared with another cabin on the property), which comes fully-equipped.
Please note that while the cabin has electricity and heat, there is no running water. Guests will be provided with water for drinking and doing dishes.
The property sits on a nearly 60-acre private nature sanctuary with two ponds, over a half mile of river frontage, hiking trails, free-range chickens and much more. There are seven fire pits located throughout the grounds, perfect for making s'mores and recapping the day's events.
Each of the property's five cabins comes with a fully-equipped kitchen, as well as fresh linens. That being said, guests often bring extra linens, sheets, pillowcases, blankets, personal towels, and bathroom supplies.

This property is pet-friendly, and there is an additional charge per pet, per night. For week-long stays, the fee changes to a flat $50. All pets must be up-to-date on vaccinations, including rabies. If guests' pets do not get along with other animals, including chickens, they must be kept on a leash at all times when not inside the accommodation. Guests must clean-up after their animals, and any damage caused by a pet is the responsibility of the guest.
Guests are responsible for letting the property's on-site innkeeper know if additional visitors or guests will be coming on any given day in their stay.
Daily housekeeping is available for an additional fee per day. Please let the host know if interested. Guests that book a stay for seven nights or more will get their linens changed mid-stay, as well as a light cleaning.
Check-in is from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. If guests will be arriving late, they must let the innkeeper know by no later than 6 p.m. on check-in day. Located right along the East Branch of Fish Creek, guests can use a kayak and travel down the flowing stream in search of new sights and sounds. If guests are traveling during the winter, there are numerous places to ski or snowshoe nearby. The Adirondacks are only a short drive away, ideal for a day trip with the whole family. In addition, Cooperstown is also close, which features the National Baseball Hall of Fame, as well as many places to eat and drink.
On-site, after swimming in the river, glampers can bike around the property or play outdoor yard games. At night, adults can sit out by the fire and enjoy a glass of wine, while the kids make s'mores and tell riveting campfire stories.
