Description of Glamping Units
This unique, four season, rustic barn, with open, loft-like floor plan is lovingly renovated with the work of numerous local artisans, surrounded by gardens and green, a 4.5 acre oasis with pond, stream, small yoga deck, three fire pits and custom made picnic table.
The barn sleeps a maximum of 6 guests in five beds; one king, two queens, and two twins. The five beds are distributed in three different levels; ground, second floor and lofted room.
In the summer, the barn cools down with two window air-conditioners and glampers can cool down at the spacious, private outdoor shower while gazing at the trees and sky.
In the cold months and nights, it heats up with a highly efficient wood-burning stove. The first load of wood is neatly stacked inside for glampers convenience.
On the ground floor, glampers will find a nook by the piano and a thick queen futon mattress on a wooden frame. This bed can be used for sleeping or as a day bed.
On the second floor, there is a king nook with a brand-new plush king coil mattress on a wooden bed frame with organic sheets. There is also a twin trundle nook with a metal trundle bed with a coil mattresses. It's great for kids or couples as one of the beds can either be left low or raised to match the regular height. They have organic sheets as well.
In the loft, there are three queen futon mattresses stacked on the floor for extra comfort, also with organic sheets. From here, there is a lovely view of the creek.
The barn's rustic kitchen is nicely equipped for glamper's cooking pleasure. They will find it stocked with plates, cups, mugs, utensils, and pans included. There's also a sub-zero fridge, a convection oven, a cooktop, and a large sink. Please note that there is no dishwasher. There is also a brand new grill on the deck just outside the kitchen. Guests have also used the fire pit to cook corn, potato, meats, and 'smores, naturally.
The bathroom has a claw-foot tub with shower hookup, a sink, a toilet, a mirror, and toiletries. Bath towels are provided, but guests are ask to bring creek/outdoor towels.
There is also a spacious dressing room (enclosed by curtains) with a large mirror and a steamer. This room was created for all of the guests who come to the barn to attend weddings in the area.
Enjoy the barn's library that is equipped with all sorts of books -- glampers will be sure to find something interesting. Why not relax and read in the cozy hammock?
