This beautiful New York glamping site is located on an estate formerly owned by a known Woodstock artist, Judson Smith, who used two of the barns for his studios. The estate property has the Sawkill Creek running through it, which is a year-round trout stream, with the Comeau Park on the other side of the river. With the town of Woodstock located nearby, glampers are never far from a new place to explore.
For glampers who have never stayed in a tipi before, it will be best to visit from mid-May to late September, due to the colder temperatures, especially overnight. Guests who keep the fire going inside the tipi, can be kept warm in the coldest weather. Seasoned firewood is provided.
The rate for the Sioux Tipi is discounted for stays of more than two nights. Those who wish to request the discounted rate, please enter the dates, then click the "Contact Host" button, and the host can input the lower rate before booking.

A word of caution: The rocks by the river can be extremely slippery, especially when wet, so be careful.
