The property is a short drive away from State College, which is home to Pennsylvania State University. The university is home to many events, including football games, concerts, and other cultural events. Football games only occur in the fall, while other events run all year long. In the winter months, there is a ski resort on Tussey Mountain, which is a short six-minute drive from the property. Seven Mountains Winery is also nearby and offers wine tours and tastings made by appointment. Guests may also like to head into the town of Boalsburg for its many bars, shops, and restaurants, where guests can get a flavor of the local culture and cuisine.
