This accommodation is located at a historic bed and breakfast in Holicong, Pennsylvania, where it is situated on a 10-acre working sheep farm in the countryside of Buckingham Township in Bucks County. Strolling the grounds of the farm, guests will find sheep pastures and meadows dotted with trees and laced with open trails. Set about halfway between Doylestown and New Hope, the farm's location provides guests with a rustic setting in which they can enjoy the peace and quiet of rural life, while at the same time enjoying convenient proximity to both a variety of natural environments and in-town amenities.

Within a half-hour drive from the farm, guests can reach a number of parks, preserves, and outdoor recreation areas, including Nockamixon State Park, Washington Crossing State Park, Delaware Canal State Park, Tyler State Park, Ralph Stover State Park, Dark Hollow, Baldpate Mountain, Tohickon Valley Park, the Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve, the Bull's Island Recreation Area, and the 110-acre nature preserve of the Bucks County Audubon Society at Honey Hollow. About 10 miles to the west, guests will find one of the parks that is closest to the farm, Peace Valley Park, which surrounds the shores of Lake Galena. Here, guests can explore 14 miles of hiking and biking trails that wind through meadows filled with wildflowers, such as sunflowers, trout lilies, and loosestrifes, and woods composed of dogwoods, spicebushes, cedars, viburnums, oaks, maples, ashes, and tulip trees. Exploring the trails, guests may encounter a variety of wildlife, including deer, groundhogs, muskrats, and squirrels, along with many birds, such as woodpeckers, finches, cardinals, sparrows, and titmice.

The historic towns of Doylestown and New Hope are both about 12 minutes from the farm. In Doylestown, guests will find attractions such as the Mercer Museum, the James A Michener Art Museum, the Moravian Pottery and Tile Works, and the Fonthill mansion. At New Hope, they will find the Bucks County Playhouse and a variety of gourmet restaurants, boutique shops, art galleries, nightlife spots, and live music venues, all set along the western bank of the Delaware River. The farm is about an hour and 10 minutes from Philadelphia, where the nearest international airport is located.

More trails for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and cross-country skiing can be found at Baldpate Mountain, Tyler State Park, and Nockamixon State Park. At these last two of these parks, guests can also go swimming, fishing, sailing, kayaking, canoeing, windsurfing, and ice skating on Neshaminy Creek and Lake Nockamixon. For canoeing, kayaking, tubing, and rafting on the Delaware River, guests can head to the Bull's Island Recreation Area.

For gourmet dining, boutique shopping, art gallery browsing, guests will find a variety of options in the historic riverside town of New Hope, where they can also attend performances at the Bucks County Playhouse.
