About this place

Your campsite accommodates up to 6 campers with 2 on the Queen bed in the 10' x 12' Safari platform tent and up to 4 additional campers in the included pop-up tent. For parents with toddlers or young children, the spacious canvas tent can fit a pack-n-play or even a twin air mattress next to the Queen bed. The Queen bed is outfitted with a 5" memory foam mattress and linens; if you plan to use the pop-up tent, please bring sleeping bags and consider mats or air mattresses for comfort.

The glamping site also has a picnic table with a prep station, two Adirondack chairs, and a fire pit with grill top. Two complimentary towels and toiletries are included and you will have access to the on-site warehouse with hot showers and bathrooms.

If you're looking to do a larger family or group get-together, Lake Genero offers 2 Tentrr glamping sites and 10 primitive camping sites. The nearby (less than 10 mins) Why Not Riding Stable offers guided horse trail rides. Lighthouse Harbor Marina on the 5,000+ acre Lake Wallenpaupack is a 15-minute drive from Lake Genero - pontoon and power boat rentals are available there through Pocono Action Sports.

Lake Genero is the perfect Poconos weekend getaway - just 2.5 hours from midtown Manhattan and Philadelphia.

The Space:
Lakeside glamping site at Lake Genero in the Poconos - 44-acre private campground with canoes, fishing, volleyball and more!

Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation.

Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet.

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

What you should bring:
-S'mores supplies & any food you'd like to eat
-A cooler to keep your grub from spoiling
Firewood

Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While the host does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location.

If a Host submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the host's property, the host reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

Other Things to Note:
- Free parking for 2 cars is included
- Person booking reservation must be 21+
- No air conditioning is available at the tent
- A propane heater is provided for cool nights
- If you bring a dog you must fill out an agreement prior to your stay
- Do pack food, bug spray, sunscreen and an extra layer to keep warm

IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR WINTER GLAMPING:
Did you know that both of our glamping sites offer propane heat? That means you can glamp all year round! Pack your warm clothes, stock up on firewood and stay at our cozy lakefront sites for only $50/ night. We provide the propane!

WHAT'S DIFFERENT?
We do need to shut off our water during the colder months, so our hot showers, sinks and toilets will not be available from 11/1/22 - 5/1/23.

However, during this time we offer 2 private portable toilets (one in the men's room and one in the women's' room), a 10gal water jug with a spigot for you to store your water, 1 complimentary propane tank that is hooked up to the heater, firepit, a list of off-season local attractions, linens, lantern and weather-permitting amenities such as: fishing, cornhole, scavenger hunt and more.
