This utterly unique remodeled cottage is tucked away in Punxsutawney near Mahoning Creek Lake in Pennsylvania and can accommodate eight guests. In this cottage rental, guests will be treated to four separate wildlife-themed bedrooms that share two lovely bathrooms between them. Each bedroom contains a full-size bed adorned with comfortable linen, as well as bedside tables and reading lamps. The shared bathrooms both come with a toilet, a sink, as well as a large walk-in shower, while the downstairs bathroom also features an oval bathtub.

The spacious living room is dominated by a large gas-fired stone fireplace with comfortable fabric couches and a wooden coffee table set around it. The living area also has a TV for those rainy days. On the outside of the living area, guests will find a round wooden dining table that seats four people.

The fully functional kitchen comes with wood countertops and mesh-cabinet doors. It is equipped with all the necessary appliances and equipment that includes a microwave, cookware, essential condiments, tableware, and dishes are also provided.

Outside, glampers will find a lovely decking area and have access to a plethora of hiking and biking opportunities amid the towering forest trees. Guests also have access to the main lodge.

Guests will be pleased with the modern conveniences this lovely establishment has to offer. The host provides a wonderful home-cooked breakfast, including all the classic favorites that guests will enjoy waking up to. Guests are encouraged to choose one of the reading books on offer, stroll through into the garden, and relax on the hammock beneath the maple tree. Other amenities included are air-conditioning, a communal kitchenette in the main lodge, Dish TV, and wireless internet.

This glamping accommodation is all about providing the utmost relaxation for guests, providing the perfect serene setting for an all-encompassed escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. In the early morning, guests are encouraged to take in the misty air that engulfs the plantation while meandering through the ancient apple orchards, the surrounding forest trees, and the luscious hillside.

Thousands of visitors flock to this area every year to celebrate Groundhog Day, where they take the time to head on into the charming village of Punxsutawney to visit the world-famous Punxsutawney Phil in the Groundhog Zoo, followed by a visit to Gobbler's Knob which is a Groundhog club that provides an excellent celebration every year on the day, as well as an exciting informational experience every other day of the year.

For those guests looking for a more outdoor experience, the Mahoning Shadow Trail features miles of easily traversable terrain that follows the Mahoning Creek and is perfect for hiking and biking enthusiasts. Further along on the path, guests will come across The Coke Ovens which are remnants left over from one of the largest coal fields in Pennsylvania. Seven of these series of mines were located on the exact trail.
