Cozy Pennsylvania Camping Retreat on Wallenpaupack Creek
Glamping in Pennsylvania | Weekend getaway ideas
This Pennsylvania camping retreat is the perfect escape from the city. While glamping in Pennsylvania, guests can enjoy the 40-acre farm and the hosts are on-hand to let glampers know about all the best attractions in the local area. When guests arrive at the property they will see the barn and farmhouse and might be greeted by our two dogs - Rufus (great Pyrenees) and Piper (border collie). Guests should just keep driving past the dogs through the cow pastures to arrive at the Pennsylvania campsite.
The tent has a queen size bunk bed and comfortably sleeps four people. The hosts supply a propane grill with propane to use. Glampers should note that bedding is not provided. The hosts provide several handy additions including a six-foot picnic table, an outdoor fire pit, two Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep the tent warm and toasty at night.
The hosts were inspired by the bathrooms on NASA spaceships when creating the camp toilets. Before use, guests must line the bucket with a CleanWaste bag that is provided by the hosts, or a similar plastic bag. After use, the bag must be tied up and placed in the trash.
The Pennsylvania luxury camping site also has a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to five gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.
